50NL - Common decision spot

Here's a common spot. I cbet for value, the turn bricks, and I have to decide whether I should bet again, or face a river bet. What do people think is the more profitable line: betting to get a free river (ie, I'll check behind the river) or checking the turn planning to call a lot of rivers?

My decision here is usually to check and call a river bet that isn't too big and if the river bricks completely. Otherwise, I'll just muck.

I presume DH will say that it's better to bet turn then check turn yet I get back to my own thinking of not playing or putting myself in position to play big pots with semi-hands.

Yeah...it just comes down to whether it's easier to just bet/fold the turn or check and face a tough decision on the river.

My default here is to bet turn for value. Not knocking your stakes or anything (I play 50NL too) but I think most people here are passive enough that you rarely ever get CR bluffed. Think about the river when it comes...

Red is correct I would bet and don't really think it's close.

Probably gets closer against better villain who are capable of CR bluffing but until then bet bet bet.
