Double Polish victory on HESOP Final at Montesino.
Grzegorz Cichocki (Poland) is the lucky winner of the tournament HESOP, which took place at Montessino in Austria. Grzegorz received a cash prize of 13.470.
After four exciting days of poker, Polish HU took place as Gregory Cichocki played against his fellow- countryman, Pawel Czartoryski.
While playing a final hand of the tournament, when 7-9-J appeared on flop, both players decided to go all-in. Grzesiek Cichocki had 8-10 which gave him a straight, Pawel Czartoryski's kings had still some chance for winning.
However, when nine fell on the turn and 6 on the river, Obywatel_G's victory became a fact.
The final game, in which participated 9 players, lasted over five hours. The unique structure of the Main Event players guaranteed HESOP players a balanced play conditions. No wonder, then, that the average stack for most of the time was at the level of 40 big blinds.
The Main Event was attended by 524 players, the representatives of Austria, Poland, Germany, Czech, Greece, Italy, Belgium, Hungary, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Japan.
In addition to the Main Event, we could observe five side-events.
