Wow that is one of the worst checks I've seen in a long time on the turn. It'd be hard to even design like a worse turn check if I got to make up the flop/turn action and cards. Oh wow even stack depth makes it worse. You are way too good to ever be checking this turn, I'm guessing the downswing is making you play worse whether you realize it or not.

As played call he can easily be bluffing given turn check. I mean the river isn't even anywhere near close so just post results please because I'm gonna lol whether you won or lost on the river.

P.S. I am rooting for you though.

I folded river as I didn't think he would CRAI with 2 pair and I felt he wasn't capable of turning missed diamonds into a bluff here given that I could easily have 2 pair myself.

Well if the top of your perceived range is AJ then he's going to CRAI with AJ anyways. So that's 9 combos of AJ he can have compared to 12 combos of sets so you're getting odds assuming he CRAI with all of them (and they're effectively the same thing or very close to it form his point of view).

I wanted to see what he had.
